Leadership, Civic Engagement, and Conflict Resolution
SPO, in collaboration with IRC, organized a three-day capacity-building workshop titled “Leadership, Civic Engagement, and Conflict Resolution” for 15 selected CSOs in the districts of Sukkur, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Kandhkot, and Ghotki. The primary objective was to enhance the capacities of CSO leadership and senior management by equipping them with essential skills to lead effectively, engage with communities, and resolve conflicts, thereby fostering sustainable social development.
The workshops followed a structured methodology across all districts and included interactive sessions focusing on leadership development, civic engagement, and conflict resolution. Participants actively engaged in brainstorming sessions, peer learning, group activities, and individual presentations. These activities were designed to enable CSOs to develop and implement strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and community impact.
In each district, the workshops offered a platform for participants to refine their leadership skills, recognize the significance of civic engagement, and devise conflict resolution strategies. Through these sessions, CSOs were better prepared to advocate for their communities, manage resources efficiently, and address conflicts constructively. The uniform approach ensured an equitable and impactful learning experience across all districts.
Participants expressed positive feedback regarding the training, highlighting its practical relevance and immediate applicability to their organizational mandates and work. The workshops created a collaborative environment where participants shared experiences, discussed best practices, and built networks to support their ongoing development and advocacy efforts.
In conclusion, the Leadership, Civic Engagement, and Conflict Resolution workshops marked a significant milestone in strengthening the capacities of 15 selected CSOs. By equipping them with essential knowledge and skills, the workshops aimed to empower these organizations to drive sustainable social change and foster cohesive, resilient communities capable of addressing malnutrition issues at the grassroots level.
